Funding from the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation (IEJF) enables RSI to continue to administer its eviction mediation program in Kane County, Ill. In 2025, RSI mediates 550 cases, reaches 383 agreements and avoids eviction in 386 cases.
Additional IEJF funding enables RSI to update the intake process for our Kane County Eviction Mediation Program and to provide new training for staff and mediators to better serve parties who have experienced domestic violence.

RSI’s Research Department presents a set of free webinars, From Confusion to Clarity: Court Communications that Work, providing actionable tips on creating court communications that users understand, trust and use.
The American Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section presents RSI its 2025 Attorney as Problem Solver Award.
RSI partners with the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) to evaluate CCR’s equity audit. As part of the project, we develop a guide to help mediation centers improve mediator roster equity, as well as a two-page summary of key takeaways from the guide.
