Washington Revised Code 7.06: Arbitration of civil actions

Washington State Legislature. Jan. 1, 2018
http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/default.aspx?cite=7.06&full=true

For counties with populations of more than 100,000, this chapter requires mandatory arbitration for all civil actions involving less that $15,000 or the management of child support payments. For smaller counties, the chapter makes such programs optional. The chapter instructs the Supreme Court to develop rules to implement mandatory arbitration, but also provides general guidelines for arbitrator qualifications, appointment and compensation, as well as the filing of decisions and trial de novo requests.
