Office of the Executive Secretary, Supreme Court of Virginia. Jul. 1, 2011
http://www.courts.state.va.us/courtadmin/aoc/djs/programs/drs/mediation/soe.pdf

The Judicial Council of Virginia established these standards to guide the practice of court-referred mediation within the state. The standards address such topics as assessing the appropriateness of mediation, initiating the process, self-determination, professional information, impartiality, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, agreement, level of skill or expertise, quality of the process, fees, advertising, community service and additional responsibilities.
