Oklahoma Legislature. Apr. 8, 1989
http://www.oscn.net/applications/oscn/index.asp?level=1&ftdb=STOKST12#Chapter38A-ChoiceinMediationAct

The Oklahoma Dispute Resolution Act authorizes counties, municipalities, accredited law schools or agencies of the state to establish mediation programs, and directs the Administrative Director of the Courts to administer and supervise these programs. These rules outlines procedures for program certification and funding. They also set mediation intake procedures and require certified programs to create policies for making and receiving referrals, training mediators, conducting mediation sessions, and other actions. The rules also include certification and qualification guidelines for mediators (Rule 11), mediator complain procedures (Rule 14), and mediator standards of conduct (Appendix A).
