Pennsylvania Statutes Title 23, Chap. 39: Domestic Relations: Mediation Programs

Pennsylvania General Assembly. Jan. 1, 2018
https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/LI/consCheck.cfm?txtType=HTM&ttl=23&div=0&chpt=39

This chapter authorizes the court to establish mediation programs for divorce or custody disputes. It stipulates that cases will only go through mediation if the parties consent to it after attending a mediation orientation session. The chapter directs courts to establish local rules for the administration of their programs, as well as the Supreme Court to develop model guidelines for mediation.
