The purpose of CRCN is to "provide a multidisciplinary forum where exploration of crucial issues of conflict and dispute resolution can be examined in depth." Current projects include case studies of U.S. - Chinese joint ventures, projects in environmental dispute resolution, an education program for separated parents, the design of a dispute resolution process for agricultural conflicts, research on the impact of social identity on the perception of fairness of downsizing in firms, bargaining experiments and the study of anger in organizations.
