Online Dispute Resolution in the United States

American Bar Association. Sep. 1, 2020
https://www.americanbar.org/content/dam/aba/images/centerforinnovation/odrvisualizationreport.pdf

The ABA Center for Innovation surveyed the extent of court-annexed online dispute resolution (ODR) in the United States as it existed at the end of 2019. This report contains statistics and visualizations to document the information captured from the survey. The data captured was used to create graphics that depict information such as a national map of ODR sites, ODR sites per year, state expansion of ODR sites per year, the types of cases utilizing ODR at court sites, parties involved in ODR (state v. individual or individual v. individual), and a comparison of ODR system features. The report also captures information about potential barriers to ODR including computer access, internet access, education, language skills and ability.
