https://www.cobar.org/-em-Colorado-Lawyer-em

This three-part series explores the future of online dispute resolution ("ODR") in Colorado.

Part 1 discusses videoconferencing with a focus on web-based videoconferencing to deliver traditional-style mediation, with mediators, clients, and attorneys participating "live" in virtual video conference rooms. The article focuses on how video conferencing could be helpful to self-represented litigants in rural areas. (Located in February 2020 edition.)

Part 2 discusses artificial intelligence assisted ODR and describes online settlement tools derived from e-commerce and that are now being offered by the private sector to facilitate quick resolution of conflicts. The article also identifies the benefits and limitations of artificial intelligence. (Located in March 2020 edition.)

Part 3 discusses the ethical considerations for practitioners who use ODR technologies. (Located in April 2020 edition.)
