North Carolina General Statute 7A-494: Custody and visitation mediation program established

In cases involving child custody or visitation disputes, this statute directs the Administrative Office of the Courts to provide parties with mediation services. It directs the AOC to provide rules for and staff the Custody and Visitation Mediation Program, and also outlines required qualifications for mediators in the program.
