North Carolina General Statute 7A-38.3B: Mediation in matters within the jurisdiction of the clerk of superior court

Except for cases involving mortgage or deed disputes or adoptions, this statute authorizes the clerk of the superior court to order mediation for any case under its jurisdiction. The statute reviews mediation attendance, mediator selection and compensation, and confidentiality, among other topics.
