Nebraska Revised Statute 34-112.02: Division fence; mediation

Nebraska Legislature. Jul. 19, 2018
https://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/statutes.php?statute=34-112.02

This statute states that landowners involved in a division fence dispute may pursue mediation after the initial filing of a complaint. The court may refer the case to mediation if parties consent, and information about mediation will be provided through the Department of Agriculture's farm mediation service or through state mediation centers. If an agreement is reached, it will be entered as the action's judgment. If an agreement is not reached, or if the case was not referred to mediation, the action will proceed as a civil action.
