https://supremecourt.nebraska.gov/sites/default/files/Programs/mediation/Reports/standards_and_ethics_revised_10-31-08.pdf

The Nebraska Standards of Practice and Ethics for Family Mediators serve as the foundation for the standards and conduct of mediators practicing under the Parenting Act and family mediation in the state. The standards address awareness of self-determination; education and training; a mediator's duty to assess and inform; impartiality and conflicts of interest; disclosure of fees, participant decision-making; confidentiality; best interest of the child; child neglect or abuse; domestic intimate partner abuse; suspension of the mediation process; advertising and mediator competency.
