NASJE Curriculum Design: The Journey Toward Diversity, Fairness, and Access Through Education

National Association of State Judicial Educators. Jan. 1, 2016
https://nasje.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Diversity-Access-and-Fairness-Entry-Level-Design-Final-2-3-15.pdf

This NASJE Curriculum Design is intended to be an educational resource for judicial branch educators and court staff. This resource is divided into two parts. Part I covers the basics of diversity, fairness, stereotyping, implicit bias, and access to the court system. Part II applies the principles and information from Part I to the court system and explores the potential for bias, prejudice, and discrimination in the court system; the potential for personal bias; and organizational approaches to diversity, fairness, and access education.
