Supreme Court of Mississippi. Jun. 27, 2002
https://courts.ms.gov/research/rules/rules.php

Under these rules, all civil cases shall be considered appropriate for referral to mediation in the discretion of the court, either by the court's own initiative or on the motion of any party. The rules provide requirements for attendance at mediation sessions, sanctions, confidentiality, fees and expenses, qualifications for inclusion on a list of mediators, filing of written reports, and standards of conduct for mediators, including self-determination, impartiality, conflicts of interest, competence, and quality of the process.
