Michigan Supreme Court Dispute Resolution Task Force Report to the Michigan Supreme Court - Addendum Report

Michigan Supreme Court Dispute Resolution Task Force. Jan. 1, 2000
http://courts.michigan.gov/scao/resources/publications/reports/cdrpaddendum.pdf

A 1999 report by the Michigan Supreme Court Dispute Resolution Task Force provided recommendations for the continued development of ADR processes in Michigan trial courts. This addendum report responds to court comments regarding rule proposals made in the first report. Both reports address mediation in general civil, domestic relations and probate cases and include the rules with suggested changes. This report also includes majority and minority statements; the majority statement supports a measure allowing judges to order parties to participate in non-binding mediation, and the minority statement does not support the measure.
