This is an interactive non-mandatory guide to alternative dispute resolution created by the Colorado Judicial Institute, the Supreme Court Administrator's Office and the Judicial Department Office of Dispute Resolution. The guide covers Colorado laws on confidential mediation, the Colorado Code of Conduct for Mediation, best practices for counsel representing a party in mediation, issues that may occur with unrepresented parties using ADR, and suggestions for local judge-led meetings to improve ADR practices.
