Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence (MPME) Standards of Conduct for Mediators

The Maryland Standards of Conduct for Mediators were prepared by the American Arbitration Association, the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolution, and the Association for Conflict Resolution and govern the Maryland Program for Mediator Excellence. 

These standards of conduct include rules and comments and cover: self-determination, impartiality, conflicts of interest, competence, confidentiality, advertising and solicitation, quality of process, and fees.
