Louisiana Revised Statute 9:4202-4217 - Louisiana Binding Arbitration Law

This law stipulates that arbitration can occur as a result of a contract or agreement and is valid and enforceable, "save upon such grounds as exist at law or in equity for the revocation of any contract." Arbitrators may compel any person to attend an arbitration session. The law also addresses issues of fees, awards and award appeals.
