The local rules for Illinois' 10th Judicial Circuit serving Marshall, Peoria, Putnam, Stark, and Tazewell counties. 

Part 2 - Case Management: Covers case management conferencing in domestic relation court, pleading designation and duties of circuit clerk, assignments and coordination of child custody proceedings, and orders of protection in domestic relations courts. For contested child custody and visitation cases, these rules require the court to refer the parties to a Case Management Conference (CMC). At the CMC, cases are screened for impediments to mediation. Should mediation go forward, mediators are selected from a court-approved roster. These rules outline the mediation process, as well as addresses conflict of interest, confidentiality of communications, attendance and termination of mediation, and reporting procedures.

Part 3 - Mediation: Provides the rules for the Family Mediation Program. These rules cover mediator qualifications, continuing eduation, and mediator removal. They also discuss mediation confidentiality and exceptions to confidentiality. 

Rule 85 - Mandatory Peoria County Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program: Provides the rules for the Peoria County Mandatory Residential Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program. These rules mandate mediation for all residential real estate foreclosure filed in Peoria County and the mediation process, discovery, confidentiality of mediation communications, and mediator immunity. Cases are mediated by court-certified mediators. To be certified, a mediator must be a retired judge or a member of the Illinois bar with at least five years of experience of litigation in foreclosure or at least 10 years of experience in real estate or litigation. A mediator must also complete a mediation training program approved by the court. Mediators are paid $150 per case.

Administrative Order 2019-11: The rules in this Administrative Order govern the Circuit's ODR Mediation Program for Domestic Relations Cases.
