ICODR ODR Training Components

International Council for Online Dispute Resolution. Apr. 1, 2020
https://icodr.org/guides/training.pdf

Developed by the ICODR, this guide reflects several recommended training components courts and other online dispute resolution (ODR) providers may consider implementing when training neutrals for ODR. These components recommend providing an overview of ODR basics and techniques (including the different types of ODR and synchronous v. asynchronous communications), adapting offline ADR techniques to an online environment, ethics, best practices, and physical practice/simulations with the ODR platform prior to conducting an ODR session.
