The International Council for Online Dispute Resolution (ICODR) has developed ethical standards to guide the design, structure, practices, and implementation of online dispute resolution (ODR) systems. These standards address topics like accessibility, accountability, competency, confidentiality, equality, neutrality, legality, security, and transparency. These standards are not binding but they were drafted to encourage courts and ODR providers to consider these ethical standards when developing and implementing ODR>
