This document outlines and describes the uniform rules for ADR processes created by the Georgia Supreme Court. These rules address: the guidelines for the referral of cases to ADR; the exceptions from referral; the appearance of parties, attorneys, and mediators; the Court's understanding of confidentiality and immunity; the form of communications between neutrals, the programs, and the court; agreement enforceability; how neutrals are selected; the evaluation of the program and of neutrals; and the rules of procedure for ADR for local programs.
