Florida Rules of Juvenile Procedure

Florida Supreme Court. Jan. 1, 2019
https://www.floridabar.org/rules/ctproc/

These are the Florida Rules of Juvenile Procedure.

Rule 8.185 entitled "Community Arbitration" discusses which cases may be referred to arbitration.

Rule 8.290 entitled "Dependency Mediation" authorizes the referral of dependency cases to mediation. Under this rule, voluntary mediation is conducted by a certified dependency mediator selected by the court through a rotation (or other) system. Referrals may be made to mediators who charge a fee, but parties may opt out due to financial hardship.
