This section of the code outlines the duties of the Judicial Council. Among other activities, the council is responsible for assisting counties in implementing mediation and conciliation proceedings. The council is also charged with the administration of grants to public and private agencies, including those involved in the development of conciliation, mediation and other ADR programs.
