Arkansas ADR Commission Rules for Regulation of Proceedings

These rules outline and describe the Arkansas ADR Commission. The Commission consists of 7 appointed individuals. The purpose of the Commission is to provide the citizens of Arkansas with altenrative methods to resolve dispute. The Commission's role is to establish standards and regulations for the certification, conduct, discipline, and training for all mediators and to develop guidelines as to what disputes are appropriate for ADR. The Commission must also educate courts, government agencies, and the public on the advantages and application of ADR.

These rules outlines who appoints members of the Commission, the organization of the Commission, and various meeting procedures.
