Alabama Civil Court Mediation Rules

The rules apply in the circuit courts of Alabama. They address: the meaning of mediation, how mediation is initiated, the selection and qualifications of the mediator, the inability of the mediator to attend the session, assistance to the mediator, the identification of the disputed matters, the privacy of the process, the need for the process to remain confidential, the absence of records of the session, the termination of the session, the interpretation and application of rules, and compensation to the mediator.
