This study provides an overview of family mediation in Anne Arundel County, MD. It discusses cases involving domestic violence, the participation of pro se litigants in mediation, overall participation rates in mediation, settlement rates (34% resulted in a signed parenting agreement, 66% of all cases referred resulted in settlement at some time prior to trial), mediator referrals, and time to disposition.
