These are the local rules for the Illinois' 19th Judicial Circuit serving Lake County.

3-1.08: Small Claims Mediation Program: Cover's the Circuit's small claims mediation program. The rules cover confidentiality, scheduling, mediator appointment, and sanctions. 

4-3.19: Family Mediation Program: All disputes involving child allocation of parental responsibility, allocation of parenting time, removal, or other non-economic issues relating to the child or children, either pre-judgment or post-judgment, The rules cover screening, the mediation process, mediator qualifications and appointment, fees, and confidentiality.  

5-3.27: Probate Mediation Program: Under these rules, any contested probate matter may be referred to mediation. The rules also cover the mediation process, mediator qualifications. appointment of mediators, and mediator compensation. 

7-1.00: Mandatory Arbitration Rules: Under these rules, all civil actions, except confessions of judgment on promissory notes, are subject to mandatory arbitration if each claim is exclusively for money between $10,000-$50,000. 

7-2.00: Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program: All parties in residential real estate mortgage foreclosure cases are eligible for mediation. The rules cover scheduling and the mediation process, confidentiality, immunity, and mediator appointment and qualifications. 

7-3.00: Civil Division Mediation Program: Under these rules any civil matter may be referred to mediation. The rules cover the mediation process and mediator rules and qualifications.
