The Seventh Circuit Electronic Discovery Pilot Program is a multi-year, multi-phase study that first began in the Northern District of Illinois in May 2009 and entered Phase One on October 1, 2009. Now in Phase Three, the purpose of the Pilot Program is to develop procedures and practices to minimize the cost and burden of e-discovery while maintaining the fairness and justice all parties deserve.
