Frances Kao

Frances Kao was a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom between 2003 and 2012, specializing in commercial litigation and arbitration. Ms. Kao’s practice led her regularly to represent clients in mediation. She has also been trained as a mediator at Pepperdine University’s Strauss Institute. Ms. Kao serves as a member of the Board of Overseers for the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law. She also sits on the boards of the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law, the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, and Business and Professional People for the Public Interest.
